KLLK is strong up here at times. Never logged KHIL up here, but a regular in
Palm Springs.

I was also told NW 980 was operating from a aux site at their studio's at lp.
Need to temp hook up my Eastern Beverage tomorrow. The tree is still uprooted,
but hooking up the Beverage is an easy job.

New Caledonia 729 was logged quite a few years back, but they never QSL'd even
after several f/ups. 666 QSL'd years before that though.

Thanks Walt, apparently the earlier post I read was not correct on CKNW. But it
looks likes 730 will be silent for sometime.

Another one bite the dust. I am glad to have this one QSL'd, as with so many
Canadians that are now gone.

When I get my beverage back hooked up this Fall, I should do fine once again
with 1410. Vancouver does not have the signal they used to have. Logged quite a
few Midwest and Eastern stuff on the freq. I will give the channel once again a
try.

I logged and QSL'd WDOV 1410 from Seward AK in the 60s when the dial was more
clear. Without checking, it may have been during the Eastern Blackout. I have
never heard it here, even though I have tried for it.

I know I have never logged India here on 594. 1134 is heard in Hawaii, but
never IDed here either. 1566 is probably the most common, if you can call them
that. When I have that Sub continental DX, it is always after LSR.

Colin,
The only Russian LW (279), I got a direct e mail QSL card from the CE. He was
quite surprised how well 279 got out. The only other Russian LWer I got QSL'd
was 151 kHz back in the 60s with a Radio Moscow transmission in Russian. 279
was common here on the coast.

KOJM is a good catch as I had a time logging them here a few years back. They
protect Kennewick WA, and KONA beams this way.

RFI. This
one does, so it makes the noise worse. Does anyone have an idea on how to
filter the noise out, other than tuning it off? RFI chokes, clip on ones?
Something else? Thanks.

Mark,
I have the same issue with the AM section on my 2014 Dodge Carivan. The FM is
fine, but the AM is covered with noise if the car is running. It is not
ignition noise either.
