OK with Office 2013, there is Outlook. So, what are the surprises that I
might anticipate, please?
Best to you from,

Speaking of keys, the keyboard that came with this nice big computer was a
lap top type with an FN key, and the function keys across the top more or
less bled together. I hated the thing, got replacement for $14.99 that I
like better than any keyboard I've ever had. Even JAWS has seemed to have

I got all my new stuff and right now am in Outlook. So far, I think I'll
have some growing pains, but thanks to all the help from yall and my
terrific husband, Jim, as Outlook told me while ago after spell check, it
said, "you're good to go!"

have the time to teach myself the ins and outs of Outlook anymore.

Thanks for that information. I will keep it in mind.
Is Outlook very different from Outlook Express? I would think that there are
differences, just don't know what to expect.
Where is the calendar in it?
We'll install my new system tomorrow or the next day.

Mike, that is what they told us at Microsoft Disability Line. I don't know
if Jim wrote the instructions, but I think he did. Nevertheless, these are
such good instructions that I will save them.

Can you give me better ideas about navigation, or will it be like Outlook

Yes. I copied the Narrator Commands and added them to those I had. I wonder
what that parent and sibling language is about.

I don't like Linktin, thought I had it blocked, but got something from them
lately. They're not worth the bother to me. That doesn't answer your
question, but supports it in the inconsistency of Linktin.

Kim, it took Jim's 8.1 about an hour to download 10, and he has no screen
reader. So you'd have time for a beer and a smoke for sure. You might want
to come in and check every now and then. Jim's kept showing the percent of
how much was loaded. I don't know what it would do when a screen reader

Insert F4 turns JAWS off, then all you have to do is turn it back on with
whichever keys you have assigned for that task, as I have Control Alt J.

Fred, I don't know if this would work for you, but when I want a song, I
just go to Google Search, enter it and go down to the list of them. That

least, it could be a possibility.

Ron, several years back, I got rid of an earlier JAWS, maybe 8 or 7, after
