with the options you want to use and just use the shortcut to
have this sometimes and when in the m,message body, I shift tab to subject
and back to message
then it will read

2. Press Alt + V for the view menu.
3. Press enter on All Headers or just press the letter A .

When you group by thread, it goes by subject not sender.
Not sure if outlook does, but Eudora and Mac mail both have this
