Talking of Beckford, I hear Grayson is trying to bring him to Huddersfield.
Shame we can't compete wit
Watching Becchio reminds me a little of David Healy. If the ball is
played up to him in the air, then 8 or 9 times out of ten he'll play for
the free kick/clumsily fall over (delete as appropriate) rather than try
and win the challenge. That is *incredibly* frustrating to watch.

Well it depends which stats you mean ? Ok this season his stats are good but
last season it wasn't such pretty reading - 11 goals in 43apps. His fans will
say , ah yes but he only started around 30 games but the they include goals
like Palace when he came off the bench. Also most of his subs app
esperate in the face of
clear evidence to the contrary. King Kanute springs to mind Rich facing an
oncoming tide of Becchio goals.

I agree with Rich. I don't enjoy watching Becchio. He is very frustrating to
watch and I don't like him as footballer at all. Any comparisons with Chapman
are way off --- Chapman had skills on top of being effective in the box. We
deserve better, but I have to admit at the moment we don't ha

Is this a point that other 'attending' listers agree with?
" I hate paying money to watch footballers who can't control a ball and who
feign injury."
Becchio, at the moment, unless others want to widen the criteria

Actually I will concede that he seems to have a knack of being in the right
