brother and his last wife, then see if either or both or neither are
missing. If the 5th marriage always shows, then delete the 4th

background timeline for each state my family was in,
and added only the info on the counties they were in
(and adding the parent and child counties) which in
general includes less than 10% per state, and I only

information goes in the source. If there is something I think I need to have
in the event, I add it into the notes. Information such as extended members of

Show line back to starting person
Show spouses for children who
As long as you have the census date in the date field, couldn't you do a
search for all who DON'T have a census event with a date that includes 1860
(to use your example)? Obviously, you could narrow it down further using
the location and/or description field.

The difference is the order in which people are reported.
The Descendant Book goes in generations. The Descendant Narrative
names the first child of the originating person and then exhausts
their descendants for the number of generations you've chosen for the
report before coming back
At the risk of being too obvious, why don't you try making one of each
