Pat, If I understand you correctly what you are getting seems to be correct. The point of the Don't repeat duplicate lines refers to the whole line of descendants from, in your case, Richard and Mary. AS far as I know it is not possible to select only one of the spouses to have the details

Yes, the first source was added in an earlier version. I was able to add a second source to one other record where the first source had been added in an earlier version, but I have not been able to do it again. The idea just occurred to me. Could there be a problem with that particular record
