Hi Mary
I use location for town/city - where you may find a group of relatives, and
where there are libraries/hospitals/public records. You may want to find out
who was living there, or what reserch you can do there.
I use address for a building or a site - eg residential house, a hospital, a

My preference for using the Location Field for house/Street/town is quite
well known, however, I do not when it comes to Sources, such as Libraries,
Hospitals, Public Records etc..
For these I use the Address fields. The reason being that when I create
webpages there is a section there

Having done more work on this problem today, I can now confirm that it
does affect the first line after the new generation. It is just much
more noticable when the generation number is included.
I think perhaps a programmer meant to type 75 and hit 65 instead!

I am glad you have both been able to replicate the problem in the Descendant

The bug has been recorded by Legacy and it is now in their hands to put it

File ID 1 blah blah blah

That cannot be done from within legacy.

Nope - that's not it - it numbers the sources so I know how many sources I
have, but it doesn't give me the File ID as the number, it just gives me the
number of sources I have created, but thanks for the thought.
It now reads:
1 blah blah blah File ID 325
2 blah blah blah File ID 17
3 blah

Thanks for your ideas, though. I'm creating a table in Word to create the

Some of you may recall I recently converted over to Legacy from FTM2009.
Within FTM I had a large number of images such as census, obits, PDFs, text
documents and others that are attached to source-citations for everyone in
my file. This looks like it's going to be more work than it's worth, but
The Picture Center lets you attach pictures to an Individual,
Marriage, and to Events (including Birth, Christening, Death, Burrial)
BUT I don't think it can be used to attach pictures to Sources.
Am I wrong?
