the Description field for the Censu
You could also put the information in *both* places and not print the
one you don't want. I got this idea from Geoff Rasmussen.

Enhancements are however, suggestions for changes that someone feels
would make Legacy better. There is no guarantee that any suggestion will

I think it is interesting that on the Chronology Tab, options button, you
can include/exclude event notes. Why isn't this option available on
reports.

Yes! I just ticked both Print [[Private]] Notes and Remove [[ ]] and
previewed an FGR and the Event Notes printed as you would expect.

I'm amazed. You're right of course. Normally I try things out but
didn't think this would work so didn't bother.
I still wouldn't add privacy brackets around a code in order to leave
event notes out of a report sometimes and not others. I'd change the
definition to leave out the [Note
They work just fine -- I use them in all sorts of situations, both in
standard definitions and over-rides.

Anything you type into Legacy in double square brackets is not printed.
