Hello everyone,
I have a question regarding copying and saving an article.
Yesterday, Tom Kemp said that when saving an article,
he will copy the PDF then switch over to Jpeg and save the

I have verified that adding JavaScript as suggested does work at
RootsWeb (again, because JavaScript runs in the browser of the user

Here's my example:

I would probably just select all, copy and paste into graphics program.
The other option would be to find a website or app to do the format
conversion.

N! You can’t use the original source if you didn’t look at it
yourself! Well, you CAN but you shouldn’t.
Here is a great example. Let say you find someone in a marriage index at
Ancestry. You cite the INDEX. You wouldn’t source it like a marriage
certificate. I can’t tell you how
Standard practice is that you cite the source you see, but, if that source
references another source, you would reference that. The source you see
(ex: Ancestry.com, Joe's Index of Death Records in Podunk County, etc.) is
important because that is where other researchers may find that

I am working on a Descendant Narrative Report and I don't want this person
married someone to appear in the report. I know if you click on the files
persons name there is a place to check that says this individual never married
and had no children which is what I want to be in the report.
