I'm sure there are smarter ways of doing this, but as gif animations usually aren't very large, you can save each frame as a separate image file (e.g., in a PICT or BMP format), name them consequtively (e.g., frame001.pic, frame002.pic) and then open the entire sequence in QuickTime Player
