For which software do you need 32 bit support on S/390?

Hello,
I am looking to install 32 bit libraries (c libraries) on RHEL 8.2 and I could
not find the rpms in the installation DVD iso. Yum queries only shows .s390x.
RHEL 6.9 came with both *.s390.rpm (32 bit ) and *.s390x.rpm (64 bit) rpms on
the disk. As per RedHat 32 bit applications are

Hello all,
We recently moved our working z/VM Linux LPAR from z9 to z10. After the move
our Linux guest systems are unable to use a layer 2 VSWITCH device. Our Linux
guest has 2 layer2 NIC interface eth0 and eth1 defined. NIC eth0 is used for IP
and NIC eth1 only does LLC over Ethernet (no IP)

We have noticed on our 2 z/VM Linux instances makewhatis is scheduled to run
daily and weekly via CRON. Since this program is re-building whatis database, I
am guessing its ok turn it off to save some CPU utilizations. Does anyone see a
reason to keep makewhatis running?
Thank you,

We have 2 qeth network devices defined in our development Linux guest
machines.
drwxr-xr-x 6 root root0 Jun 5 16:11 0.0.0600
drwxr-xr-x 6 root root0 Jun 5 16:11 0.0.0700
0600 comes up as eth0
0700 comes up as eth1
The reason for such a setup was to be able to SSH into the guest Linux
