The 3Com Managed PC Boot Agent on 3C905C adapter by default is configured to use PXE boot protocol. However, you can also configure it to use the BOOTP, DHCP, IPX/SPX boot protocol. Anyway, you can only one boot protocol at any given time. It is important to note the PXE booting works sligh
Hello,
I am using LTSP v3 on RH7.1 and my terminal machines run the Citrix ICA

it possible to have sound on the Citrix ICA client or would that not work?
Thank you,

Hello List,

Hi Stephen,
If sound is correctly configured on your workstations, and your ICA
client is configured for sound, it should work ok. It certainly works for
us here at optimus.

You have another dhcp server answering your requests for an ipaddress.

Keith,
There are various ways to accomplish this. One way would be to
configure your display manager (GDM,KDM) to perform an auto login.
Then, you can add the rdesktop command to the users .Xclients file.
Another thing you could do, is wait until we release LTSP v3.1, which
will make it real
Jason,
Can you try sitting at the server console, and run Opera ?
it really shouldn't have anything to do with the workstation,
because the app runs on the server anyway.

Is there anyway we can add a portion to the ltsp.org website that has
content relating to this matter? Or perhaps have a separate website
dedicated to this subject?

You can also place a script as the 'shell' in /etc/passwd, though
there are security implications (ie, can they get out of the shell

The only thing ive noticed that really affects my boot time is if I have a

After that it depends on the speed of the machine booting the kernel. Even

Hi all,...
i'd like to ask a question about unable to load vmlinuz after my ws got
its IP (so it shouldn't be a cable stuff -physical issue) from LTS.
Here are what i've done to check what's going on:

My suggestion for groupware is phpgroupware. It has just about everything
you can want in a groupware suite.

Last year our school added a ltsp server to our pre-existing Linux

I found something that isn't LTSP, but it is about using linux thin clients
in the enterprise environment. The city of Largo in Florida have 400
