to specify the correct resolution in this setup. It would have to be a
setting in the lts.conf file, I suppose.

problems at hand. In the interim, complex software packages get a bad rap,
because of the intricacies of individual networks and their legacy

But perhaps bandwidth is playing a role as well in the 8ms network I do not
know.

saw the problem disappear. As a side
note when we were testing we noticed a similar CPU occurrence while running
xnest sessions to the LTSP server. I do not remember now if it was before or
after the screensaver was disabled.

I could know how to make lts.conf works in Gutsy.
I follow the instruction in Edubuntu Gutsy help and make the
/var/lib/tftpboot/ltsp/i386/lts.conf
but, options seems to not work.
for example:
[0123.4567.8901.1234]
screen_01 = shell
or
[0123.4567.8901.1234]
LDM_USERNAME = test
LDM_PAS
/tftpboot/ltsp/i386/lts.conf, really working in Gutsy? or I need
to use /opt/ltsp/i386/etc/lts.conf and update the image?
any Ideas?
ps: I reboot the stations several times to try.
Thanks

lts.confdon't work well, even if you change back to use nfs,
xorg.conf build does't work well too.
I really recommend to use old lts 4.2 with KDE.

You dont need to install skype local.
The question is the sound server.
Part of solution is to install Skype local.
But, you need to check the sound server issues.

With 200m2 without barriers wireless go easy,
but bandwidth is complicated factor.
basic router 802.11g, (54) does not give good performance for my taste.
you need a really good. but you need a really good wifi-pci with a good
antena too.
cables and a switch works better for now.
may be a wifi N,
sound.
Flash Plugin, is another app, that sound works better if the mozilla plugin
is installed to run local in the station.
WebCam, I nerver try, but I guess that could be the same situation. App need
to be run in station.
