Hi John,
Thanks for finding this!!
I will have to experiment with using mimeapps.list some.
For all who are interested here is the spec...
$XDG_CONFIG_HOME/$desktop-mimeapps.list user overrides,
desktop-specific (for advanced users)
$XDG_CONFIG_HOME/mimeapps.list user overrides
file
associations.
Did you find that Lubuntu 14.04 (or perhaps 14.10?) is supporting the
new spec in part or in whole? Or are you just saying that you want to
look into it more?

set all the right permissions:

otherwise you may need a polkit rule as a temporary workaround...

What is its package name? I wasn't able to find it.
Hi Aere,
I made a PPA for the package. It is only usable in Live OS
a separate home partition). You should use the same tool
(also same version) to make the tarball and to use the tarball.
For example, the standard OBI is built into Lubuntu Trusty. Israel is
creating ToriOS, which is built from Ubuntu mini Precise. If you use
Israel's ppa, keep track of the version

Not sure how bad this error is... I don't have something to check this on.
It does seem like it might be an issue. It could be that none of them

Does anyone else use fglrx in their machine? does this error occur
usually, or could this be the issue?
