I tested this last patch on Cygwin and it does not work well. Specifically I have to delete userdir/lyxrc.defaults otherwise I only get PDF (dvipdfm) and PDF (pdflatex) in the View menu. That is the design. Use the old lyxrc.default, '' will be there for not-found viewers and lyx will not do

I tested this last patch on Cygwin and it does not work well. Specifically I have to delete /lyxrc.defaults otherwise I only get "PDF (dvipdfm)" and "PDF (pdflatex)" in the View menu. That is the design. Use the old lyxrc.default, '' will be there for not-found viewers and lyx will not do

Yes, uic is also broken in the same way. However, if you build a non-threaded Qt, it will work (it does for me). I will try to use a standalone qt3 as suggested by the wiki. This will certainly not be accepted as a cygwin pacakge though. We will have to wait for cygwin/qt3 to be fixed to
