Removing ~/.lyx-1.4.2svn didn't help. Does anybody have the same problem?
Could anybody please check whether

will simply work.
Lyx is compiling, it will be several hours later for me to report the result.

Hello LyXers,
today I had some time to work on the installer I released last week.
I was able to fix the menu localization problem by setting the .mo files
directory to the lyx.bat file. Many thanks for this hint Enrico.
Many thanks also for the preview scripts changes Enrico sent me to use

No.

Yes, uic is also broken in the same way. However, if you build a
non-threaded Qt, it will work (it does for me).
I will try to use a standalone qt3 as suggested by the wiki. This will
certainly not be accepted as a cygwin pacakge though. We will have to
wait for cygwin/qt3 to be fixed to
I tested this last patch on Cygwin and it does not work well.
Specifically I have to delete /lyxrc.defaults otherwise I
only get "PDF (dvipdfm)" and "PDF (pdflatex)" in the View menu.
I finally have my mingw+lyx+qt4 set up and can test this patch. (Poor
ghostview gets installed/uninstalled five
Hi all,
Before submitting this to bugzilla, I wanted to verify it was a bug and
not a feature (i.e., not deliberate).
Create an enumeration or itemization that contains some nesting, e.g.,
1. blahx
2. blah
(a) blah
3. blahy
4. blah.
Now highlight some of it (say from the 'x' to the
