Using JabRef I managed to import a big database in txt format exported as Refer Export from Endnote7. I had to use the JabRef 'Bibtex-key generator' to get the database recognised as bibtex (and also by Pybliographer). Import in Lyx1.3.4 worked (after I got the Lyx-server going somehow),

Can someone explain the options for including Lyx files. From the 'Insert' pull down there are 'Include File...' and 'Insert File' - 'Lyx Document...'. In the 'Include File...' dialog there are options for 'Include Type:' which has the choices Input, Include, and Verbatim. I am trying to get a

Ruurd made a great job with LyXWin. The only problem is the Sed. I'll mail him and hopefully he will provide LyXWin 1.3.4 with the actual Sed version. I agree that the LyXWin is great. What is the actual problem with SED. I have not installed a new version of SED AFAIK. And my LyXWin works

At the moment, and unfortunately so, loading lyx onto windows is not straight out of the box - if it were so then the list would have no one asking the same old Win Lyx q's almost every week - this page is meant for them - people who have firstly followed up the method on Ruurd's download page and

First assure that you use the actual memoir.layout. You can download it from here: http://www.lyx.org/cgi-bin/viewcvs.cgi/lyx-devel/lib/layouts/memoir.layout This worked beautifully, it was quite stupid of me not to think about deleting the three memoir layouts previously posted from my local
