Those are basically a fancy shaped Arduino header pins. I just bought 200 8-pin, long stackable Arduino headers for $21.95 delivered which comes out to $0.014/pin. The pins I get are just a shade larger than IC pins in both directions and work in both normal leaf sockets and turned pin sockets.
