It would still be very useful though, imagine your iPhone dies, and you are at
work and have to then log into iCloud via the website to send a email or
retrieve a phone number etc or look in your calendar.
Sighted folks can do this, so why not us? Google are doing a wonderful job of

Hi,
I must take back some of what I said earlier. I've logged in successfully and
am able to navigate the UI, though things are certainly a bit confusing. I
don't use the rotor, but have found groups mode to be quite helpful in
understanding the way things are laid out, which is actually rather

Yes Nick that has been absolutely my experience, I'm glad to see you echoing
it. I've set the voice to the Australian one, I just can't determine if the HQ
voice has downloaded. When I put the use compact voice on, I do hear a
difference in sound. My point wasn't so much about using (or not)
Hello everyone,
In IOS5, when reading a book in iBooks, VO repeats the last few words after
turning the page. Very irritating.

Sounds like I need to give your shoulders a rub to calm you down.
I rote to Apple about this too. So hopefully between us all they will get the
message. Personally I was happy the way the voices were in the previous OS
build. I liked Karen, but she seems to say things in a different way now.

Hello Jonathan,
The book I'm reading on my iPhone is one I put into epub format myself. I don't
know whether that makes a difference. Also, the voice is Daniel.
I'll have to try with a different book, but this wasn't happening before the
upgrade with this same book.
I was pleased that iBooks

Hi Anne,
You've probably done this, but have you checked the App Store, for the update
to iBooks. It is supposed to address IOS5 stability.

Hi!
As a reply to my own message, I already got this confirmed. It has not been
fixed as has been thought on the list, speaking of premium voices as originally
was the case. At least, that's what we ended up talking about.
If you download more than one premium voice and use the language rotor
It would make more sense if Apple enables us to decide on what the default
voice should be. Should i really have to listen to Daniel every time I hold in
my home button to verbally interact with my phone? This does not just effect
VO users, but anyone who takes advantage of voice commands,
Hi!
That's another good point. You don't really have any control of it beyond
VoiceOver, and even so, it still downloads the voice whether you use Voiceover
or not, and basically whether you want the voice or not.
I find it strange that Apple hasn't implemented a method to disable this, or
Afternoon folks,
It seems that Apple has seen fit to update iWork for IOS, adding improved
functionality to the suite, as well as the ability to use iCloud. But, where

Hi!
Yes, you have to use a country code as with regular messages. Otherwise, it
assumes that the number exists within your current country and who knows who
you're sending to then?

So, I checked the support Communities and did a search for Error (a). The
