The apps you’ll want in this case are probably the iWork suite, which consists

I think you can do this a lot easier than you describe below. You don’t need to

tested this much myself when testing iCloud.
The reason your storage shows as 0 GB used is that contacts, calendars, etc are
not counted against the 5 GB limit. That is primarily for mail and backups,

Dear Lynn
If I may ask, what is iCloud not doing for you that you expected it to? I
believe your media has been stored in the cloud for the past several months,
ever since iTunes in the cloud became available.
Best,
Zack.

Hi Sarah and All,
I'm not sure why we are all having such different experiences with the
iCloud.com site, but I was just able to use FInd my iPod with no issues.
Signing in is accessible, and from then on all but one of the buttons I've
seen are labeled.
I just use the standard VO web navigatio
Hi Jane,
Just sent one to you. Hope it worked. :)

Hi All,
This post may be old hat to some of you, but I thought I should share it in
case it is useful.
I recently figured out that iCloud was not my mac's default storage location
for new contacts. It was puzzling to me that I'd add a contact on the Mac and
not see any mention of them on my iPod

Hi Joe,
You're missing something, actually. Go a bit farther down the page, and you'll
get past the unlabeled buttons, which are apparently labeled in other browsers
for some reason.
You'll find an edit field to type in your Apple ID and password.

Hi Sarah,
Perhaps a restore of iOS is in order, but I'm not sure. I've had it take a long
time before, but never that long. It always finishes.
Sorry I can't be more helpful.
Best,
Zack.

Hi Marryy,
iCloud wouldn't concern itself with apps as far as I know. It would be more
concerned with contacts, calendars and the like. What exactly are you trying to
have differ between your devices?

Zack.

Hi Mary,
I don't know if iCloud will be a problem for you. All you need to do is turn
off the items you don't want synced. As far as I'm aware, iCloud won't touch
your apps on any device, unless you have the automatic download option checked
in the Store settings, in which case new purchases wil
Hi Sarah,
Apple got rid of Front Row as of Lion, I believe. It apparently wasn't used all
that often and hadn't been updated in a while. I'm not sure of an alternative
for you though, since I didn't use it.
Best,
Zack.
