Yeah, I can confirm this, too. I agree that it's far more likely to be a bug or an oversight, because it's not the only thing that needs interaction now that didn't before. The downloads list in Safari won't read the status anymore unless you interact. I can't see any reason for changing that. On

Olivia: Bottom line concerning the Stream and the Mac... You will be able to do everything with the Stream, except authorize it for Audible. Audible works very very nicely on the iPod Touch, iPhone, and iPad. I believe you have two of these. The NLS player is really worth getting though.

Webkit is the backbone of safari and I do use it every once in a while when safari goes haywire. Check them out at webkit.org. They use nightly builds and they are a bit ahead of safari's version . Ok they have to be. lol! but they release bit of code to apple when its time for an update.

regarding the change in the download window in Safari, this has in fact been changed. I think a different ui control is being used to display the information. there is probably a way to get vo to automatically interract, but I'm not sure I would want that behavior... gotta think o that.

I prefer Apple Mail and Safari to Microsoft's Outlook and Internet Explorer. You can get AOL instant messenger for the Mac, but personally I prefer iChat for use with AOL, you can get iChat to also work with Facebook and MSN too Apple will fix these current problems within weeks I am sure.
