You can subscribe to the VoiceOver On podcast through iTunes. Just enter
VoiceOver On in the search field and it should be the second result after
VoiceOver Getting Started.
Cheers,
Anne

Hi,
I answered Chris's post on the mac-access list, but the quick summary is that

Thanks Esther. As always, your advice, suggestions, and user-experience is

Thanks again, am off to have a look at Amazon upon sending.

Hello!
I have recently tried to find a workaround for the following:
I have two tracks in a project and I want to edit one of them. The only way to
do this from the keyboard is to press the letter n as in next to switch to the
next track.
I read on the maccessibility-website that there should be

VO says the word "text" when I use VO+J to move from the message table to a
message. Is this what you are referring to?

Hi Matthew,
Collections refer to special categories of items under the Bookmarks menu, such
as "History", the "Bookmarks Bar" (i.e. the most frequently used bookmark
entries that appear on the browser page when the Bookmarks Bar is not hidden),
the "Bookmarks Menu" (usually, the list of bookmar
Hi Yuma,
Perhaps you can clarify your requirement? The way I've used hotspots, closing
the associated app renders them inapplicable. When I reopen the app my hotspot
again becomes active.
Only way I know to save them is via the "export preferences" menu item in the
voiceOver utility. Perhap
The hot spots are automatically saved, until you either replace them or get rid
of them. Unfortunately, you can only have up to 10 hot spots, from numbers 1
through 0. That's Apple's design. The hot spots are only active if the program
associated with them is open because it's a quick way of ret
Thanks for those clarifications.
I always thought hotspots just didn't work anymore once a program was closed
for some reason.
This actually makes more sense anyway, but i always used hotspots for document
referrals only, but this sort of changes a bit more of my workflow :)
Thanks again

Hi,
Good catch, Greg. Pete can probably check this if he slows down his speech.
VO+J only works if you still have the Mail Preview Pane showing (which is the
default set up for Mail).

Hi,
Hotspots are persistent through reboots. I'm not sure whether this was true in
the earliest versions of the OS when they were first introduced in Leopard,
though. They do have to be someplace that VoiceOver can "see", though -- else
we could set hot spots for the problematic app icons tha

Hi all!
Whilst playing around with hotspots I also found that you can find out what is
in a particular hotspot!
If you do not want to look at all your current hotspots but want to look at 8
only you press vo+command+8 and it will tell you what you have there!
Oh yeah Jes great podcast!

I went to the HTML5 v. Flash presentation today. IMHO there was tap

they listed Mac accessibility but the speaker said they were activly
working on it and were adding support for open standards-based
