Hi!
I sometimes find that when i have my braille display (papenmeier els-40)
connected to my mac mini mid 2011 i get odd behaviours when using voiceover to
navigate.
I can sit and navigate through a dialogue or table and suddenly the mac gets
crazy and arrows through the table on its own.

FWIW, Sophos AV for Mac is also free and mostly accessible. Of course, it has
a commercial counterpart in the Windows world, and Sophos are eager that you
should be dependent on them. I used it with success to clear up my virus
collection from my Windows days.
My personal recommendation is

me, since I have Safari automatically initiate my web activity, and of course

Hi there
Never yet. That's one I never heard of. My first thought is that there is
something wrong with your display.

Hi.
Are there instructions on how you can use both without conflicts? When I

Hi,
If you know the title of your Podcast, you can type the first few letters of it
to move directly to that Podcast. This works best when in List view and when
focused on the Table but not Interacting with it. Otherwise, Item Chooser like

FLV or Flash Video is a container which can hold any number of video
formats. The older ones used the Sorenson or On2 codecs while the newer
ones now support h.264 (MPEG4). So FLV in of itself may or may not have
the old junky video formats. One quick way to tell is to just rename the

How do I know if it's a Nuance voice that I am using? Are they all Nuance

What spec are you checking? Final Cut and Aperture usually aren't

Most every voice is Nuance, yes. Alex is not, and the older voices (Fred, and
the other old-style synthesizers) are not, but any you have to download are.
Yes, the bug is present even if the activity does not change the voice in use.

Tim and others,
thanks for the tips for how to search in a large table of podcasts. I am

iMovie can do that easily enough. I sometimes use Handbrake. its about as

Just to double check: you did launch a title before navigating using the menu?
You presumably already know that you can't navigate to a title until you're
past the root and title menus, so slap enter a couple of times first and try

First of all, I assume that you are using iTunes 11 in Mavericks.
