Hi Susan, The 722, recharges the battery to about 90%, and then the indicator will go off. It then recharges at a far slower rate (trickle charge is the term, if I'm not mistaken). Out of the 3.5 hours or so that it takes to get fully recharged, about an hour is spent on this very slow stage.
