For Larry, I must say, the unit is working great so far.  Completely
reliable, as I reach the end of week one of operation :)

Believe me, I don't want you to have any problems with it.  As someone who was a
mini disc sales person, the worst thing in the world that I wanted to see was
defective units.

Until the Sharp 701/2 problem we almost never got Sharps back.  We got a few Sony
R50s back.  I have a theory that they apply different standards to the quality
control of Japanese Domestic units then what they "dump" on the US market.

I really believe that the Japanese domestic units are better.  I could be totally
wrong.  But it seems that we had less problems with the Sony units we sold
compared to the number of American units.
