mkfs.btrfs the root partition, mkfs.ext3 the boot partition with your
favorite linux;
boot from usb image, and copy the file to hard disc;
syslinux the boot partition;
than restart you netbook, and enjoy the meego.

you replace /usr/sbin/moblin-dm with /usr/sbin/meego-dm, is a good idea.
but you should not set /etc/inittab as noreplace, please fix it asap.

If you just use zypper, then put your xxx.repo in /etc/zypper/repos.d/;
If you just use yum, then put your xxx.repo in /etc/yum.repos.d;
If you want to release your repo, then just do what meego-release do.
