It will have an adjustable vacuum valve, 2 screws 2 elongated holes in the door. This valve is for the two-pipe system, which I don't think any 126 ever had. I think they all had electric vacuum/pressure pumps. -- Jim

Hi Fred, In addition to the excellent post by Kevin, I'd definitely change the valve guide seals while you have easy access. Ask Rusty for the "Genuine Mercedes" seal kit. Wouldn't hurt to have a machine shop check it for flatness, etc... cracks should be visible to the naked eye if there are any
