I bought a wire tracer at Home Depot, or Lowes, a couple years ago for $30.
It worked as good as the commercial tracer I had at work that cost $300 10

Not 100% on this but I think the stumbling issue relates to fuel pumps,
they use 2 pumps.
I can go and dig around if no one has the TSB handy.

that went into the 380 and it is well known for this but generally
speaking the chain is not the problem in the V8's, it is the guides and
tensioner that let go.

check the gas door flap. All 380 and 450 engines are MB approved for
regular fuel. Even the 190 2.3 is MB approved for regular.
All others require premium as specified by MB including the 420 and 560 engines.
