sunroof etc. Said it would start last summer when it was in the 90s, so
he thinks it has lost some compression since the head or whatever blew.

1st one except something got gummed up inside. Only strange thing
though is on the 1st one I even swapped the valve body, so problem must
have been in the governor or something. But the really wierd part is
why the 2nd one

Thinking that one of the shift arms had come a loose.
The way my lucks been going lately it couldn't be something

Not too bad -- belt driven OHC, so all you gotta do is take off the
vacuum pump, loosen the belt, and take off the injection pump drive
if its' on the rear (on the VW it's on the main belt).
Then remove valve cover and unscrew the head bolts. I think you can
disconnect the exhaust and pull
BTW, widow's walk is sometimes called "Captain's walk," for the sea captain
to check on his ship and crew down at the port.

Load range is the maximum load the tire is designed to carry at the max
pressure marked on the sidewall. But it's not all about air pressure - 2
tires can run the same air pressure & have a different load range.
I know I sound like a broken record but its all about tire sidewall design.
