Any sign of positive/negative pressure on the house? That could indicate leaks
in the return or supply ducts outside the living space (i.e. attic) (if there

Hm. I'd guess the idea would be to get people to buy the insurance
rather than pay the fee. I would think the fee ought to be somewhat
higher in that case: an older driver with a clean record might be able
to get liability insurance for less than $500/year, but a young

One house I looked at (but did not buy) had baseboard hot water heat, and A/C
in the ceiling. I'm sure this is because the AC was added later and for ease
of access they did all the ductwork in the attic, but this struck me as a good

Depending on the age and installation, there may be dampers in the
supply ductwork, usually well hidden.
Sadly, it's likely that the ductwork to the upstairs is too small.
Might run through the attic and be un-insulated, too,

That's what an outer front CV joint sounds like. Klatta, klatta, klatta.
Inners are more likely to show up as vibration instead of noise, and have little
to do with steering

filter. Bolt comes out slick through cap. You can bet I will inspect
carefully in the canister and on the bolt and wherever else at the upcoming
