The question on my new baby - 1996 S420. I had a

Having had a set of W111 Euro lights resilvered, I can tell you that the
refurbishment is nowhere near as good as original.
These were done by a professional plating guy who does high end silver and
other precious metalplating. They were nickel plated first, then silver-plated
several times.
