Yah the e420 starts in first gear but shifts almost immediately unless I
put my foot right to the floor. With the 2.82 diff there isnt much that
will keep up with it from 0-30, except maybe a Tesla. Other cars just dont

Well it’s not a factory crate motor that’s for sure. Looks original to me.
Engine was dirty but it had fuel return lines leaking fuel all over the place.
No blow by and ran steady with no knocking unlike my other rod bender that had
a bent #1 rod.

The repairs, even if you’ve got the parts you can scavenge off OkieAcres car,
are substantial. Worse yet, if your intent is to fix and flip, a salvage title
is going to be a big hit.
