The rears are pretty worn so I am going to do both pads and rotors without

photo... Here is the details without it..
I got a 1985 300TD! Diamond Blue with blue interior. Super nice car!!!
Drove 800 miles on I-95 at 65 to 80 mph and used about 3\16" of oil on the
dipstick! Win! No blow by either no oi
PS. Spent 2 hours today polishing the chrome and have her a bath. Going to
wax her up this weekend and detail the interior.

Well, Anja and I are not stripping our VW to sell back. Maybe if there is
a fix for the 2015, someone will get a nice, used, VW TDi wagon.

I had totally forgotten about Hart to Hart! I loved that show growing
up maybe that is where this came from.
I am a super duper maintainer of my stuff, and I have an awesome set of
tools! (inherited from my Grandfather along with his tractor) and I am not
afraid to use them. I am old enough
That is totally true Rick. The options for us seem to be a used crapbox
modern wagon (heck no), a used W124 or 210 wagon from MB (and we don't care
for these body styles as much as our favorite) or go for the gold with our
favorite of all time...
Drum roll please
The W123 Wagon.

Thanks Clay!! That is about as far as you can get from Gainesville Florida
tho! hahaha! I must admit, I miss the PW (family from
Eugene/Springfield/Tualatin areas) but seeing the snow in that one ad,
brr! Looks cold and wet to me.
My primary goal is to get a daily driver out of the box. So
Awesome! Thanks!

Thanks Rick!
I have seen most of those and did not consider them as viable candidates as
they all need too much work to turn into nice, reliable, daily drivers that
are not rust buckets. I am looking for a "pretty nice" to "dang look at
that car!" type of W123 wagon.
