I've always wondered about the reasoning behind atheism. It seems that the
claim "God definitely does not exist" is very similar to the mind set of
one who says "God definitely does exist". And, all else being equal, it
seems a lot easier to pick the latter option given societal pressures.
Actually..thats not the definition of atheism. Atheism is the *knowledge*
that there is no god. If you lack the belief in a god or deity your
agnostic. Personally, God could have shined my shoes this morning..for all
i know.
