This is nothing to do with MySQL - you installed eGroupware incorrectly by the
looks. Suggest RTM of the eGroupware install docs again

Another symptom of an out-of-sync data dictionary is that MySQL prints an error
that it cannot open a file yourtablename.InnoDB

Create a symlink for mysqld.sock in /tmp.
ln -s /path/to/your/mysql.sock /tmp
This should resolve the problem in over 90% of the
cases.
once this is fixed it is likely that you have other
problems. but we'll discuss them when we get there ;-)
