I've recently obtained a PVR150 card for my PC and its not working.
My setup is Mandriva 2005LE with kernel 2.6.11-6mdk.
I used the mandriva distribution RPM to install IVTV, myth, xawtv, etc. etc.
All seem to find the devices just fine - but alas - no picture :-(

discovered that the backend was dying because the buffer directory did
not exist. Make sure your buffer directory exists and it is writable by
your myth tv user.

I'm running KnoppMyth R5A16. I've seen people reference the ability
to burn audio CDs in MythMusic from previous posts, but I can't figure out
where the option is.
My burner is an ATA DVD burner. KnoppMyth R5A16 is running a
2.6.11 kernel, so ide-scsi doesn't work, I think. But the

I don't know about FC4 (I use FC3 - I prefer to stay
one release away from cutting edge on my production
machines), but you'll definitely want to get GLX
working if you use an nVidia card (which I assume you
do).
With GLX working, you can use the OpenGL VSync for
reducing tearing/jitter, and also

Have a look into jump points. You can configure them from mythweb
and then you can setup 'activities' on your panel (watch tv - Live
TV) etc... Then after you press that button your page changes to
display a keypad and transport controls or the like. I have been
thinking abou the same thing

I had the same problem and (after much battling) I found out that it was trying to load the wrong library file on startup -
in /usr/X11R6/lib/modules/extensions/ there should be a libglx.so and
libglx.so.1.0.kernel version symlinked to the files in

I am using a Sceptre FT15. I dug this out from work. It was made in 1998, and
i'm surprised I even got it to work with linux. I was told we paid 5000$ for it
back in '98.
