[mythtv-users] Chaintech AV 710 sound problems

I received a new AV710 today in my quest to get digital audio from myth. However, before I attempt digital audio, I'm trying to simply use analog output, and I'm having problems with no sound after pausing or fast-forwarding the video. I'm using a Mandriva 2005 system, running PVR150/250 cards.

i just skimmed my dish 322 manual and it looks like you are out of luck. you can change both channels to rf, but not ir. get two 322s for the myth backend, then you can use the other two rf channels for other rooms. it would cost the same as getting two 311s.

I've been having a problem pretty consistently with sound starting ok, and then dropping out 10-20 minutes into the program, the problem seems to occur mostly on my local CBS affiliate [WTVH, Syracuse, NY OTA]. Sometimes when this occurs I see the video stream get corrupted at about the same time
