Bottom line: Try a different PCI slot. If that doesn't work, get a newer

Hello,
Has anyone tried running MythTV with INNODB
tables? I run them at work, and they seem
very reliable.
MyISAM, on the other hand, seems to corrupt
easily. At least once a month I have to fix
a table...
Is INNODB a drop in replacement?

It would be nice if messages from mythosd would show up when you're
looking at the menus/mythmusic/mythweather/etc too. I'm not ALWAYS
watching TV, but I usually have myth ON in some
it running. Mythweb is a prerequisite.
HOWEVER, my version of transcode segfaults when mythburn tries to create
thumbnail images, so I'm really not sure if you can get it 100% working.
This isn't a mythburn problem though. It's a transcode problem.

tching cdrtools.
I read a post on the KnoppMyth PHPBB stating that this problem (of not
seeing IDE burners) is fixed in MythTV svn. So apparently it's a MythTV
issue, not a tools issue.
So... when is the next MythTV release scheduled?

my cdrecord permissions:

Is there anything else I can do to make MythTV 0.18.1 see my cd burner?

myth
t if each driver is treated specially, then I
guess it's just
a matter of getting ivtv specific VBI support added to MythTV, right?
Thanks again!

So does that mean that they'll get emb
rk, I think. But the burner works
fine. I've burned a few DVDs already using MythBurn from MythWeb.
Is there something I have to enable first?
Thanks!

myt
uxing the
mpegs either.
I've burned several VBI laden mpegs to DVD using mythburn without any
problems.
- I assume they'd be lost if Myth transcoded the file (say, to
Nuppel/MPEG-4)
Probably.
