Use Cooledit and wavelab in win2k or windows NT, I run both progs in win2k
and have never locked it up. As far as hard disk recording, i don't think
linux has any software yet, tho i've heard of some companies thinking of
porting.

Win9x is great for users that don't want to know anything but point shoot,
and when I want to do e-mail or other web related work, I use it for the IE5
browser and OutLook Express, but any more, I spend 99% of my time in Linux.

There must be a folder on the DOS partition (/dev/hda4) named in this case
"zip" since that is what you put in your fstab file, as that will be the
