would give Gnome a try. All was going well until this morning when I
launched gnome - I had no panels. I tried deleting all gnome config
directories in my home directory, still no panels. Any suggestions?

I have to reconfigure the toolbars the way I lke them. It appears that
the toolbar state is not being persisted when Konq is closed. Anyone
else seeing this on 10.1CE? Anyone have a fix?

addresses and saved email? This has happened to me twice. Funny thing
is that Evo did not lose my mail account info so its not like my whole
config was lost. At this point I've switched to Thunderbird.

Just out of curiousity, and i know this isn't a kde mailing list =), but
does anybody know what file settings need to be changed in order to make
menus transparent in KDE? i've seen it in several themes for kde, but when
i install them, changes to the k-menu and kicker don't take effect. Any
megagradient eh?.. i am using kde2.2, i'll have to give it a try when i get

Actually that's in the styles section. You might want to check out a theme
call mosfet-liquid. It is spoken of on pclinuxonline.com with

Finally got it going. Had to change pci slots. Started linux, and it
assigned my card a proper hwaddress. Tried adsl-start, and worked like a
charm. Still seems a bit flaky (i rebooted, and when i came back into linux
