Di solito scaricando dalla Sun danno l'RPM ( o il .bin che contiene l'rpm perchè vogliono essere sicuri che venga letta la licenza). Comunque per fare una cosa standard bisogna scompattarlo sotto /usr/java/ e poi modificare il file /usr/bin/java modificando i richiami a kaffe in quelli al nuovo

OUCH, how the hell??? My computers and times that i have used for linux: -Compaq 7180 (p100) and it takes 1.5 hours to compile a complete kernel. -Clone all SCSI p3-450 and it takes 30 mins to compile a complete kernel. -Dell Optiplex GX1 P3-450 and it takes 35 mins to compile a complete kernel.
