if you boot up on the Winxp cd and choose recovery console, that will bring you to a dos prompt. you can then try chkdsk /r, fixboot or fixmbr. There is help on the web if you do a google search for unmountable boot volume that will bring up further help but the chkdsk /r worked for me.

Hi Has anybody Got a Geforce 4 working under 8.2 at all?I have tried installing the Nvidia drivers but because I think it is insisting on using Xfree 3.? and not 4.2,because it dosen't recognise the card. If somebody has managed to install with a geforce 4, I would appreciate any advise
