This was a running bike that blew smoke. I have replaced rings, rebuilt the
head. Before the work it had spark in all 4. I don't think the pulse generator

Surfswab). The problem did end u[p being a bad left coil. the strange part
to me is that this is the same coil that went out about a year ago it was a
used coil. That is why I asked about new coils not used. That time
I have used the rust remover from harbor freight and it works great

Oops for got about the cup filter when talking to you but i did check
it 2 weeks ago as well but will check again and if it is the coil I

I had the #1 cyclender stop putting out spark. Went through the
check list thats in the shop manuel check coil check wires ect... I
had a used cdi and put it on the bike now it runs fine but I don't
trust it because it too is oem stock from 84 out of a parts bike. The
manual does not show a way

pint and a half through (about 12 resavors full) the clutch system

On my 85 700 I get 49mpg on the freeway 70mph and on back roads up to
65mpg at ave speed of 45mph. city driving I get 42mpg stop and go ave

I have seen that motorcycle for sale many times on craigs list and the
price keeps going up. At first it needed the seat recovered and the
pitcher showed a seat that would not go with the bike. The motor had a
broken starter chain ( his words). Than he got a replacment motor and

that looks like a photo of the altornator cover? If that is what it is
than that is the wire that goes from your altornator to your regulator/
rectifier. It should have a rubber boot like gasket that is wore out
and someone just put alot of rtv gasket material and hoped it would
work. Being as it

The leak from the pipe must be from being Canadian ( just kidding.)
You must determin if the leak is truley from that pipe or from the
valve cover gasket. to do this clean up the dirty oil. Than see for
sure where it is leaking. If it is truely from the pipe than you need
new sealing washes for

I have used the wal-mart filter for the last 3 oil changes but the
last one the wal-mart closest to me stopped caring the Supertech brand
(aka Purilator brand.) So this time I used a Fram oil filter I just
looked it up in the book on the isle. I have had no issues and my '85
