I'm pretty sure this is well documented but my google searches like: `opensolaris automount nfs' are turning up so much extraneous bull pucky... I'm not finding it. I want to make sure a specific nfs share is mounted at bootup. Server is opensolaris 2006.09 and client is opensolaris 2010.10

How can I get a hosts current fqdn address easily? I'm from linux and there `hostname' has a switch `-f' that prints the fully qualified domain name. But on Opensolaris neither of: /usr/gnu/bin/hostname /bin/hostname Appears to have that switch. Or any way to get fqdn through `hostname'.
