Hi all, I checked the admin guide, and found that auto close+ means Successful, and auto close- means unsuccessful. But I tried both, and the timer expires, and still the ticket is not closed. Is there a configuration setting, such as a minimum timer or so? I had the timer set to 10 minutes in

in redhat like system there a service otrs that runs in runlevel 2345 that populates otrs crontab over more other things. one of this is otrs.PendingsJobs.pl (as defined in file pending_jobs in /opt/otrs/var/cron/). This, by default, is executed at every 45 of every 2 hours and does closure and/or

Ok, I've guessed out the problem, which indeed was a misunderstanding in the way OTRS manages the pending state. I thought that the ticket's state would have been changed as soon as the timeout was reached, but it is instead changed by the PendingJobs.pl cron job, which by default runs every 2
