to find, and really good quality for what one pays. Go wider and landscape shots
suffer. Go longer and groups shots suffer. 50mm.

Konica S3 (http://www.cameraquest.com/kons3.htm) is a rangefinder with
shuntte preferred also no manuel mode. It has 38mm/f1.8 Hexacon a very nice

Nope, the Canonet 28 (yes, I have one too) is only full auto. If you
switch it off the auto the lightmeter stops functioning and it only uses
a fixed shutter speed.

This is a typical image where RAW would have made the post-processing
much easier. The RAW would have used more bits to describe each step
in the tonal range, and thus giving you at least half a stop more
latitude, possibly up to two stops. I don't know the maths there, but
from experience
