I'm inclined to agree with Paul, here. There's something almost
tactile about the reflection and the surface of the water.
I certainly wouldn't over-tweak it. I think it has plenty to recommend

way to later emulate lens tilt which selectively alters the plane of focus
with PS. That has to be done with the lens tilt in camera.

When you have the DOF of APS-C you don't usually need to emulate tilt,
since focus is broad. But as Adam pointed out, the 90mm is a macro, so
tilt is advantageous for that application.

Messing with Photoshop again. Found a tutorial on luminosity masking
adjustment layers and thought I'd play around with it to see if I can do
anything with it.

Yes, the foreground is the big problem with the cruise ship image. It
is a very ugly dock. It each image, my subject was the sun, and the
ships are really there to give the sun something to reflect on, so to
speak.
