This almost didn't happen. I accidentally shot it 4 stops underexposed
(I adjusted the light for f:4 but I forgot to adjust the K-3's
aperture -- d'oh!). I passed over it in Lightroom and almost marked it
Talk about bug eyes !

frame) to be nearly 1/32" lower. ;-))

about Ken's "The Lake - Lake Superior". It is indeed an image worthy
of the kudos. When converting it to digital I believe I would have
done a slight image rotation to correct the vertical lines. Similarly,

Vivitar 200/3,5. I hadn't yet destroyed the front element. That would come
later while shooting drag racing and continuously cleaning mo
I like it as is. You might want to burn in the highlights and (maybe)
midtones on everything behind her spine - mostly the guy behind her and
the highlight on her bar stool. That reduces the distraction but
preserves the atmosphere. I'd leave the bottom of the frame as is as the
empty stool nex
