Been there, done that! Seems like there are two drawbacks to improved
battery technology:
They last so long you get lazy about recharging them, but when they
quit, they quit *right now*.
Or maybe the improved technology just reveals our own drawbacks.

about the strobe effect modelling light, but the word permanent

the AF 360's in PTTL mode and am happy with the results except when

Leon, I'd recommend Metz flashes.
Those are excellent and often better than flashed from manufacturers.
You want to check 50 AF-1 and 58AF-2 flash guns. The ysupport Pentax
completely which means wireless the Pentax way etc, PTTL and HSS.
