I'm thinking of the color profile assigned to your monitor - but not using a Mac I don't know that I can help. On a Windows machine there is a color profile assigned to your monitor that is used by Lightroom and other apps to adjust the colors so that what you see is accurate. If there is a pro

Histograms don't lie, but you have to know their language. For example. A photo with no highlights will display a histogram with no right side. You can still use it to fine tune contrast and tonal range. Paul via phone > On Jul 24, 2017, at 9:04 PM, P. J. Alling wrote: > > Learn to love the h

Exactly, they don't lie, but they can't tell you the whole story either. And they only show you reflected light, not incident. The more tools you have to measure light the better informed you'll be with more consistent results. Still, not using histograms is to miss out on a lot of great exposure

I'm speaking more to using the histogram post exposure in rendering. At that point reflected light is the only light that counts, so the histogram can indeed tell you a very co Plate exposure story. Paul via phone > On Jul 24, 2017, at 9:40 PM, Bruce Walker wrote: > > Exactly, they don't lie

HC110 is supposed to be a relatively low fog developer. That might help a bit but I wouldn't expect miracles. If they were all the same expiration date, batch, and were stored the same way a test might make sense, however since they weren't every roll is likely to be an experiment that won't
