I think you broke it John. I got as far as the Place Order button. After that
(for an hour now) I just get a greyed out screen and a spinning boomerang or
whatever. I tried closing the window, coming back into the site. When I tried
to place an order, it recognized me, updated my order from one

since they went over to using it. At one point I got the grayed out
screen spinning whatever-it-is too. The server goes live at midnight,

I just noticed that at the skating competition the photographers in the
front video/photo row are almost all shooting while holding their cameras
by hands. I think I noticed either 1 or 2 monopods, and even one
of those was most of the time on the side, while the photographer
was using his other
High ISO capability makes it easier to shoot handheld. Figure skaters move
quickly and change direction often. I would think that a monopod is a huge
encumbrance.

about a year ago. Interesting how he combines decay of man-made structures
and animal photography.
